Singapore Polytechnic (SP)
The SP-IPRS Student Chapter was founded in 2017 in joint partnership between Singapore Polytechnic School of Business and the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore. Since its inauguration, the SP-IPRS Student Chapter Executive Committee (EXCO) had organised several activities and campaigns to create greater awareness and understanding of the Public Relations profession amongst our Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Management Specialisation) students and other Singapore Polytechnic School of Business students.
Some examples of activities organised by the SP-IPRS Student Chapter include the industry talk by guest speaker Ms Lien Xiuwen (winner of the Outstanding Young PR Professional Award PRISM 2017 organized by the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore), and learning journey to SGAG.
To further reach the SP student population, the SP-IPRS Student Chapter EXCO had embarked on a Digital Marketing campaign on Instagram to drive the fundamental meaning of communications and create greater awareness of the SP-IPRS Student Chapter. The #ConfidenceSpeaks campaign with the tagline “Confidence is a Choice. Let is SPeak”, is a campaign aimed to instill confidence in the student community and encourage individuals to strive towards a braver and more confident self by communicating who they are, their beliefs and aspirations.
