Marcus Ong

Marcus Ong is a public officer who currently serves at Singapore's Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Murdoch University and later completed a Graduate Certificate in Communications Management from Singapore Management University.

He began his career in the private sector, with the majority of his experience being in the attractions and hospitality industry. In his current role, Marcus plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective communications strategies for matters related to the environment, water, and food in Singapore.

He has been an active member of the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore since 2018 and was formerly the President of the Murdoch University Student Chapter.
