Cindy Lim is the Head of Marketing Communications of the Singapore Symphony Group, which manages the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and its family of orchestras and choruses. The company also owns and makes its home at the Victoria Concert Hall. Starting her career in the SSO as Marketing Executive in 2000, she was promoted to Corporate Relations Manager in 2010, and to Head of Marketing Communications in 2016.
In her current role, Cindy oversees marketing, brand, digital, customer research and communications. She has led the team on a journey of transformation, moving from traditional marketing to a digital and data-driven approach. Cindy has also worked closely with arts editors and journalists across the print and broadcast media industry.
As Digital Lead, Cindy launched the digital season SSOPlayOn! at the height of the pandemic in April 2020, reaching 1 million views within 6 months. In the same year, she embarked on a content partnership with Mediacorp, Singapore’s public broadcasting company. In 2021, the SSOLOUNGE digital concert hall was launched.
Since 2021, Cindy has been serving on the Council of the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English and Economics from the National University of Singapore.
