
Responsibilities:
- Manage all brand and marketing related communications and activities
- Monitor and manage the Duke-NUS brand perception
- Analyse brand positioning and audience insights and translate them into improvements in our channels
- Create and manage creative marketing campaigns to support the School’s distinct positioning and perception
- Ensure all content and collaterals maintain brand integrity–style, tone of voice, search engine optimised–for all channels including social, email, website, and onsite
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, brand compliant content
- Design and communicate the Duke-NUS vision, mission, and values
- Lead development of creative content to motivate the target audience with CTAs
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
- Monitor market trends, research audience markets and competitors’ activities
- Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
- Support brand visibility in internal communications and school-wide events. Assist with the Department’s “design” needs–website banners, marketing, display, SEO & SEM campaigns, etc.
- If required, manage agencies for production and installation collaterals
- Lead and manage paid, owned, earned media asset
- Monitor, analyse and produce analytics and insight reports for marketing campaigns
- Provide guidance, support and mentoring for social media content and campaigns
- Establish and manage the school’s photo and video archives, ensuring content is catalogued appropriately and accessible for users from different departments
- Ability to create animations or effects is desirable
- Provide support to other departments in for their social and digital needs e.g. provide consultation on how to improve their graphics or designs, or help edit designs if required
- Any other duties as assigned by the HoD.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as Brand Manager
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to agencies, peers and senior management
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix and how content fits in overall channel and communications strategies is advantageous
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite, etc. is expected. Familiarity with Sitefinity and other CMS systems will be advantageous
- Proven experience in digital marketing strategies, analytics and metrics, as well as in managing SEO/SEM campaigns
- Hands on experience in creating both corporate and storytelling visual content, story boards, and mood boards / creative briefs
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Able to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong skills set in project management, prioritising, time management, organisation, negotiations, and collaboration
- Outstanding communication skills, excellent command of spoken and written English, with an eye for attention to detail. Proficiency in Mandarin will be advantageous
- Confidence in public speaking / being emcee at events.

Required Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant discipline, with design, digital media, marketing, or communications qualifications being an advantage
- Six to eight years of work experience in brand management, digital marketing, content development and concept creation across a breadth of channels

- A motivated self-starter who is able to work independently or in a team, with a strong sense of accountability
