Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), SMRT | Executive Vice President (EVP), SMRT International

Dawn is the Executive Vice President (EVP), SMRT International, and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), SMRT. As EVP, she is instrumental in the development and growth of the SMRT International business. As CMO, she is responsible for formulating and driving marketing plans for business growth.

Dawn’s 15 years of experience in SMRT started in Corporate Marketing and Communications, where she led corporate communications, branding & strategic marketing, community affairs, customer service, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental sustainability. She later joined SMRT Taxis to head marketing and partnership to seek new businesses and to improve customer experience.

For a decade, Dawn served as EVP and Managing Director, SMRT Experience where she grew SMRT’s commercial business in the areas of properties, commercial development, out-of-home advertising. Specifically, she led the non-fare transit properties business, retail operations, digital and outdoor media, new businesses, marketing and partnerships.

Dawn is a Board Member of SMRT Alpha Pte Ltd, which manages the commercial spaces at the Singapore Sports Hub. She is also a Board Member of Stellar Retail SG-JP, which manages the retail spaces for the Thomson East-Coast Line.

Prior to SMRT, Dawn spent a decade in the Government and Private sectors. She started her career at the Ministry of Defence, managing Public Affairs in the Defence Policy Group. She later joined the Singapore Land Authority and City Developments Limited. A seasoned Business leader, she has delivered award-winning transformational initiatives in governance, business growth, public and community service, as well as employee engagement.

Dawn holds a Master in Mass Communications from the Nanyang Technological University; a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) and Executive Certificate in Real Estate Finance, Investment & Asset Management from the National University of Singapore.
