Nominations on till 18 December 2009; PRISM 2010 awards will recognise work done in tumultuous 2008-2009 period.
SINGAPORE, 19 October 2009 – The Institute of Public Relation of Singapore (IPRS) PRISM Awards, now in its 11th year, announces two Special Awards categories for PRISM Awards 2010. The two new award categories are PR Consultancy of the Year (Singapore) Award and Overall Outstanding PR Consultancy Award.
The PR Consultancy of the Year (Singapore) Award recognises PR efforts by a local PR consultancy. Its introduction is a long overdue recognition of the high standards of work done by local consultancies. A second new category, the Overall Outstanding PR Consultancy Award, levels the playing field for all, by giving all Singapore-based consultancies the opportunity to vie with each other to be the best of the best, by showcasing their creativity and client value-add for the 2008-2009 period. Both awards are introduced to recognise and honour PR consultancies that have achieved outstanding contributions to the PR industry locally and beyond from work developed in Singapore.
IPRS believes that these awards will excite consultancies based in Singapore and attract good participation.
“The PRISM Awards 2010 ceremony will showcase work done in the tumultuous 2008-2009 period. The global financial crisis was a challenge not just for bankers but for those who have to provide strategic counsel to their clients. PRISM 2010 will definitely separate the men from the boys and PRISM 2010 winners can definitely be seen as among the best of the best in the respective categories. At IPRS, we are humbled by what fellow practitioners have undergone during the period; by the same token, we are excited by the submissions we will receive.” said Mr Ng Wei Joo, President, Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS)
